This website was created to aid and tantalize gardeners (both new and the addicted). First, nurseries are listed with phone numbers and addresses. Once I have visited each nursery, I will critique them. After each visit I will post pictures, interesting sights and thoughts. If I have something to say I will from time to time post hints, ideas and ramblings!

About the author: Vanca Lumsden is a seasoned plant addict and former owner of Ponderings, a wholesale aquatic plant nursery. She has marauded all over the Pacific Northwest, from San Francisco to the Canandian border and is a veteran at designing and building large display gardens at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle.
